"Truly it may be said that the outside of a mountain is good for the inside of a man."
Mt McKinley (Denali), Beluga Mountain, Mt. Foraker, and the Alaska Range ..... all can be seen from HiLine Lake Lodge. The views are breathtaking and the photo opportunities endless, so don't forget your camera! The towering Mt. McKinley (Denali) at 20,320 feet creates it's own weather patterns and isn't visible every day, but when "the great one" chooses to show itself, the spectacular view is well worth waiting for. Though over 100 miles away, Mt. McKinley can be seen clearly from the lodge. Mt. Foraker, part of the Alaska Range, at 17,400 feet can also be seen clearly from the lodge. A quick paddle towards the north end of the lake opens a panoramic view of the rugged, snow capped peaks of the Alaska Range. Beluga Mountain is closest to the lodge, and can be seen from the lake. An easy hike on the rock wall trail also presents a great view. Snow capped in the spring and fall, Beluga is smaller and more rolling than Mt. McKinley and the Alaska Range, but no less beautiful.
