"One touch of nature makes the whole world kin."
~William Shakespeare

grizzly track

The HiLine Lake area houses an abundant array of wildlife and birds. From the smallest of songbirds to the mighty grizzly, there are always critters around for you to enjoy. Some you may see daily, others are more elusive.

From your cabin porch, you might see ptarmigan, spruce grouse, squirrels, porcupines, songbirds, and eagles.

Taking a canoe or kayak onto the lake is a great way to see beaver, otters, common loons, and a large variety of other water and shore birds.

Venturing out on the hiking trails or a fishing trip can present you with a greater chance to see the larger, less often seen animals such as black bears, grizzly, moose, or wolves.
